Sydney is going to be a senior in high school (WOOHOO!) She really loves Journalism and meeting new people. Especially younger students and fellow peers at the Korea Daily Leadership camp. She loves to eat and travel. She’s a huge Disney fan and can quote Disney movies by heart (almost). She also hopes to pursue International Relations and be that one person in movies who arrives at the airport looking professional with a suitcase in her hand. Through this leadership camp, Sydney hopes to influence her group members into learning more about journalism and hopefully slowly loving writing more!
 

Olivia is going to be a high school freshman. She is very kind and hard working. She has been playing the oboe for three years and plays the piano as a hobby. During her free time she enjoys to hang out with friends and go on walks with her dog. Olivia loves all animals except for snails and most insects. She wants to attend Stanford because she admires the campus and wants to stay close to home. In the future Olivia hopes to go into business and travel around the world. Through Korea Daily Leadership Camp she hopes to become more comfortable with public speaking and become a better writer. 

 

Tammie Oh is currently a junior.  She is on the Girl’s Varsity Golf team at her school and has been playing piano for ten years. A strong aspect of her personality is that she is very social and she is able to socialize with different people in a short period of time. She is interested in learning many different languages, and she wants to be an interpreter when she grows up. She fluently knows English, Korean, and Spanish. She would like to learn other languages such as Mandarin, Japanese, French, and American Sign Language. The reason she wants to know many languages is because she wants to travel around the world, to experience a new culture and to live in a lifestyle totally different than mine. She is mainly interested in working for a company so that she can interpret certain messages during business meetings and to teach students in schools from different countries. 

 

Donghoon is an upcoming fifth grader who was born in South Korea. He really enjoys Taekwondo, swimming, and many other sports. He also plays a korean instrument called haegeum at leisure. Just like his mentor, Yeon Taek, Donghoon also likes to eat soondubu jigae. His favorite movie is Avengers: Age_of_Ultron, and in this movie, his favorite character is Thor. In the future, he wants to travel to Korea on a ship to play with his three little cousins. Many people think that Donghoon is a funny, cheerful boy, and he manages to bring a smile upon many people's faces. His family consists of his mom, dad, and older sister. He enjoys riding mild roller coasters, and his favorite one, Manta, is in SeaWorld. He likes to read the Percy Jackson series, especially the first book. When Donghoon is an adult, he wants to become an automotive engineer because he likes cars and his dad, who is also an automotive engineer at Hyundai. 

 

William is a 6th grader going to 7th who was born in the United States of America.  His hobbies are reading and playing basketball.  William studies for the American Mathematics Competition Grade 8 and Mathcounts competitively for himself and his school.  He aims to go Speech Nationals soon with extemp.  William really desires to learn French and Latin because he wants to study in England at Oxford.  He is fascinated by how two countries speaking the same languages could be so different.  He plays the drums and wishes to advance a lot in playing the insturment.  William has learned a lot at this camp and wishes to learn more.  He has gone to multiple summer camps.  He feels extremely strongly for the mistreatment of animals especially the orcas and walruses at Seaworld.

 

 

Kenneth is currently sophomore in Eldorado High school He is currently on the Boy's Varsity Golf team and also the JV Wrestling team for his High School. He also loves to play the violin for his Orchestra. A strong characteristic and trait that he has is that he is very patient with kids when things start getting hectic(Theres an exception when it get TOO hectic). He speaks multiple languages such as Spanish, Korean, and English. Hobbies that he is interested in is Skating, Playing games, and hanging out with friends. He also loves anything that lives besides bugs because nobody likes bugs at all. Which also leads to him being very against animal cruelty. One of his mottos he sticks with is "Respect me Respect you" which means in general, If people respect him he will respect him. A job that he would want to persue is to be a Therapist because he loves to solve and talk to people about problems they run into in life. He also loves to do Community Service and help out his city. 

 

Yeon Taek is a seventeen year old student who attends Crescenta Valley High School. He is a strange one. Most of the time, he is able to bring a smile to bring upon everyone’s faces. On other days, he is the one who needs others to cheer him up as he feels extremely tired from sleeping late. Yeon Taek stays up late so that he can play online poker (play money) with his friends. He loves to deceive players with bad hands. His favorite food is soondubu jigae, a spicy Korean tofu soup that delights him every time he stuffs a spoonful in his mouth. Yeon Taek loves watching anime and reading manga, especially Tokyo Ghoul. Due to his interest in the Japanese culture, Yeon Taek wishes to visit Japan in the future and eat some of its tasty ramen. During free time, he plays video games with friends and goofs around on the Internet.
